ALL-DAY INTENSIVE JASON BLUME
NASHVILLE SONGWRITING WORKSHOP
TAKE YOUR SONGS FROM “GOOD” TO “WOW”
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2019; 9:30am - 5:30pm
Truxton Trust Bldg., 4525 Harding Pk., Nashville
(across the street from the Belle Meade Kroger)
This class is perfect for you
if you are already writing perfectly crafted songs,
getting good feedback, and are ready to get to the next level.
MELODY, MELODY, MELODY
There are reasons why some melodies stick in the brain—and others fail to do so. It is not “luck.” You will learn — and try out (5) melodic tools to separate your songs from the pack; create melodies that burn in listeners’ brains; and write unforgettable melodies that make publishers, recording artists, and record labels say, YES!”
Note: you do NOT need to understand music theory or be able to play an instrument to benefit from these tools —
or write hit melodies.
10 TOOLS TO TAKE YOUR LYRICS TO THE NEXT LEVEL
Learn (10) techniques hit writers use to create lyrics that connect with audiences, make industry pros take notice, and write songs that jump out of the pile. You will start several new songs during the workshop and leave with the tools to finish them.
IN-DEPTH, CONSTRUCTIVE SONG CRITIQUE & PUBLISHER PITCH
Jason will review your song in advance and will offer suggestions to make it as strong as it can possibly be. Selected songs will be forwarded to (10) music publishers. “Perfectly crafted” will not be good enough. The publishers have requested only songs that are “exceptional” — potential hits that are different and better than their own writers can write.
NOTE: This is only available to those who sign up for a critique.
ALSO: STRATEGIES FOR TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS;
TIPS FOR TV/FILM PLACEMENTS; AND Q & A
(30) slots include a song critique & pitch: $125
(These will sell out VERY quickly)
Audit Only (full workshop participation, but no critique/pitch): $75
**NOTE: The CRITIQUE/PITCH slots are full.**
